Your data protection rights

A verified parent or guardian may ask for access to personal information about themselves or their child, correction of inaccurate information, restriction or objection where applicable, deletion where applicable, and information about how a decision was made. Consent may be withdrawn for future processing, but withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing invalid.

Making a request

State the request clearly and include only the assessment or payment reference needed to locate the record. We may ask for proportionate evidence of identity and guardianship before disclosing or changing a child's information.

Complaints

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya through its official complaint channels.
